The New and Improved White House Website

Since President Obama came to office, he has not only made changes in the 3-D materialistic world but also on the Internet. I look at the White House Website before President Obama was inaugurated and after- just the look of the new website made me think... Is this the right website? But hooray hooray for it was! Instead of videos of the president's dogs touring the White House, there was essays and imformative paragraphs telling what our new president intends to do. I think, and I think there are a lot more people who think this, that this is a much better way to go around making a website. President Obama has remade this website to ithink its absolute best.
Not only did President Obama remake the White House website, but made a website just for his econmic recovery plan. I think this is much much much much more effective than the way conservative republicans would run the Executive Branch(I am entitled to my opinion). They would have kept the website the same way and not even go to the effort of making a whole other website is my prediction. This is why I am happy about President Obama being president

The 500

I swim. I swim pretty fast, too. And last weekend I had a swim meet. I thought it would be a regular meet like any other, what I always expect. But I wasn't sure about that because this meet, my coach was picking my events, so it wasn't going to be an easy meet, which it wasn't. I didn't find out I was doing the 500 freestyle until that morning in the warm up- that's when she told me. I did my best time in it- 6 minutes, 53 seconds: a drop of 10 seconds from my previous time. Even thought my coach said I am custom buildt for it, the 500 definitely makes me nervous. I was also one of the 4 people to do it on my team! Go Me! In The End, it was fun, but very, very, tiring.

Moleskin Notebooks

AHHH! I love the moleskin notebooks. Just the feel of them makes you want to buy one. They are the best notebooks to have ever graced this earth. They have all types, address books, plain, sketchbooks, gridded, lined, reporter, guides for cities, small journals, everything and anything you want! Digg

Digg is a little like Facebook, a little like Youtube, and a little like a newspaper. Digg is a website where you can see popular topics and funny stories from all over the web. I am using it to promote Mr.Platypus. It's a really cool website. I saw an article about a 11 year old matador who killed 6 bulls! Which is amazing and disturbing. If you check it out, become a member and Digg Mr. Platypus! :) Also, if it says no results found, click where it says front page stories and select all stories.

Los Angeles Metro VS. New York Subway System

The Los Angeles Metro is a small reminder to the Los Angelians of the magnificent New York City Subway system. The bottom line is... the L.A. subway system sucks. I know its is earhquake country, but L.A. Metro should try and get some more above ground trains... at least! There are a grand total of 3 subway lines in Los Angeles. The Red Line, The Gold Line, and The Purple Line. In New York I can think of the F, 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, D, M, and a lot more. It seems a mystery why L.A. hasn't increased it's public transportaion. It would be a lot more enviroment friendly. Come on, Los Angeles!!!!!

The Evil Locker

In my gym locker row, there is the locker 666!!!! This locker is mysterious and evil and is said to have the ghouls of the underworld in it. It is evil and that is unquestionable. I feel soooo bad for the person who has that locker or did. I've only looked at it once. Its actually kinda funny that there is a locker 666. And there's a beast inside

Platypuses in Popular culture

On TV, there are shows that you can find with Platypuses as main characters. Such as Phineas and Ferb where these kid's pet platypus- Perry - is a secret agent who battles against his arch enemy, an evil scientist who is out to get this brilliantly funny platypus. This is the most relevant example to Platypuses in Popular culture. And remember to vote platypus in the poll!

The Looking Glass Wars

The Looking Glass Wars is a trilogy of books by Frank Beddor. Beddor has only come out with 2 and i have only read the 1st. Even though I Haven't read all of them, The first one is extremely well wrote. It tells of the Princess of Wonderland who's mother and father die when she is seven because her evil Aunt Redd tries to take power of Wonderland. She is suceeful. Now, Alyss, the princess, and her bodygaurd hatter must drop into the pool of tears from which no one is seen again. Will Alyss reclaim her throne? Will she get back to Wonderland?
